Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Subjects with Type-2 Diabetes Mellitus having features of Shoola (pain),Daha (Burning sensation), Harsha(Tingling sensation), Suptata(Numbness). Subjects between the age group of 30-70 years irrespective of gender, religion and socio-economic status. Both fresh detected and treated cases of Diabetic Sensory Neuropathy. Those who are under medication for Diabetic Sensory Neuropathy. Subjects fit for Basti karma are selected

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Subjects with other systemic diseases which would interfere with the course of treatment will be excluded like Coronary artery disease, Peripheral artery disease. Subjects with type-1 Diabetes and uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus i.e. FBS more than 250mg/dl, PPBS more than 300mg/dl and HbA1c above 9percentage will be excluded. Subjects diagnosed with Neuropathies secondary to causes other than Diabetes such as Alcoholism, Drug abuse, Vitamin B12 deficiency, Cirrhosis of the liver, Hepatitis, Renal insufficiency will be excluded. Subjects diagnosed with other complications of Diabetes Mellitus like Diabetic Nephropathy, Infectious wounds, Gangrene and Foot ulcers will be excluded. Pregnant women & lactating mothers.
