Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient age above 18 years. Complete blood count (CBC) showing Haemoglobin less than 13 gm per dL Mean Corpuscular Volume more than 100fL Vitamin B12 value less than 239 pg/ml All cases of megaloblastic anaemia.. Patient,relatives who are willing to give consent for study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Age less than 18 years. Patients who are not fit for upper GI endoscopy procedure. Patient or relative who are not willing to give consent for study

Prevalence and etiological spectrum of megaloblastic anemia diagnosed by upper gastrointestinal endoscopy, including findings such as atrophic gastritis, celiac disease, chronic gastritis, infectious lesions, premalignant lesions, and gastric carcinoma.Timepoint: At the time of enrollment and completion of upper gastrointestinal endoscopy during the study period.
