Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Term pregnant women with a gestational age greater than or equal to 37 weeks 2. Patients with American Society of Anesthesiologists physical status class II to III 3. Pregnant women belonging to diabetic groups including gestational or pre-existing diabetes and non-diabetic groups
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: BMI more than 35 kilogram per meter square, gastrointestinal disorders affecting gastric motility, previous upper gastrointestinal surgery, refusal to participate, emergency cesarean delivery.
