Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Individuals diagnosed with type 2 diabetes mellitus and are on treatment for greater than or equal to 1 year 2. Patients currently receiving outpatient services under department of Medicine 3. Patients currently receiving outpatient services under department of Community Medicine 4. Patients who have undergone hematological investigations within a year and have a report of their blood profile.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant women 2. Lactating mothers up to six months 3. Diagnosed with hemoglobinopathies 4. End stage renal disease
