Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Age more than or equal to 60 years, ASA I toIII.Elective surgeries requiring invasive arterial blood pressure monitoring or arterial blood gas sampling. Written informed consent obtained.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Local infection, hematoma, or scar at puncture site. Coagulopathy or thrombocytopenia. Prior wrist surgery or trauma. Negative Allen s or reverse Allen s test. Patients with shock.
