Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients of either sex in the age group of 20 to 60 years. 2. Deep-seated buttock pain with radiating pain, especially intolerable sitting pain. 3.Tenderness of the piriformis muscle. 4. Positive provocative test: Freiberg s test, Pace test. 5.Positive Lasegue sign at 45 degree.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Traumatic, Infective, Neoplastic conditions of spine. 2. Chronic Cardiac disease (Ischemic Heart Disease, Coronary Artery Disease, Myocardial Infarction etc.). 3.Patients who have suffered from chronic systemic or metabolic disorders (diabetes mellitus, hypertension, tuberculosis of spine and hip joint, malignancy).
