Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Patient between the age group 20 to 40 year. 2)Patient suffering from symptoms of pittaj mukhpak given as per ayurvedic literature. 3) Irrespective of gender, religion , occupation, socioeconomic status will be selected randomly for the study. 4) Patient having signs & symptoms of mukhapaka - Ruja, Daha, Pak, Raktavarnata, sphoth. 5) Only those cases will be accepted for final assessment who successfully complete the treatment in given time.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Traumatic injury of mouth(e.g. Tooth brush, jagged teeth). 2) Inflammatory condition of the oral cavity like gingivitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis. 3) Patient suffering from allergic stomatitis. 4) Oral Submucosal Fibrosis. 5) Known case of Mouth Carcinoma. 6) Known case of HIV, Syphilis

1. To study Pittaj Mukhapaka in Ayurvedic perspective. 2. To study stomatitis in modern perspective. 3. To prepare Jatipatradi Kwath gandush and Panchvalkal Kwath gandush. 4. To evaluate the short duration of healing effect of Jatipatradi kwath gandush and Panchvalkal Kwath gandush treatment in Pittaj Mukhpak and preventing its recurrence. 5. To analyse any adverse effects or discomfort associated with either of the Jatipatradi kwath gandush and panchvalkal kwath gandush.Timepoint: 2 weeks	—
