Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients undergoing laproscopic cholecystectomy falling under ASA1 and ASA2. Patients giving consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient with a history of sore throat or upper respiratory tract infection. Emergency patients. Patient with a history of allergy to local anaesthetics, dexmedetomidine,magnesium sulfate and ropivacaine. Patient requiring more than one attempt at intubation

The primary aim of study is to compare the hemodynamic response (Heart rate , Blood Pressusre , mean arterial pressure )in patients nebulised with ropivacaine 0.75% with nebulised dexmedetomidine( 1 microgram/kg) and with magnesium sulfate(40mg/kg) during intubation undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anaesthesia.Timepoint: 6 hours,12 hours, 24 hours and 48 hours after surgery

To compoare the cough response at the time of extubation & incidence rate of postoperative sore throat. Timepoint: 6 hours,12 hours, 24 hours & 48 hours after surgery.;To access any adverse effects associated with nebulisation of Ropivacaine, dexmedetomidine & magnesium sulfate. Timepoint: 6 hours,12 hours, 24 hours & 48 hours after surgery.
