Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients between the age group of 40-70 years of either sex. Patients presenting with classical signs and symptoms of Sandhigata Vata like Sandhishotha, Sandhishoola, Stambha, Sparsha-Asahyata, Sphutan, Akunchan Prasarana Vedana and Atopa. Morning stiffness lasting 30 minutes or less. Baseline score 4-6 of a visual analogue scale. Patients with radiological findings of knee joint osteoarthritis. Grade 1-3 in Kellgren Lawrence grading
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Osteoarthritis secondary to other conditions like trauma, fractures etc. Complete loss of articular cartilage. Diabetes mellitus Pre diagnosed cases of rheumatoid arthritis. Pre diagnosed cases of gouty arthritis (Vatarakta). Pregnant women and lactating mother.
