Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Children in between the age group of 5 years completed to 10 years irrespective of gender , socioeconomic status . 2. Children having one or two day history of Balatisar . 3. Children having classic sign and symptoms of Balatisar . 4. Children having non infective origin of diarrhoea .

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children suffering from any systemic disorders, 1.congenital anomalies, metabolic disease , immune deficiency disorder. 2. Children suffering from Balatisar with Jwar . 3. Children suffering from Pravahika , Visuchika ,Raktatisar and Chardi . 4. Children of moderate to severe dehydration . 5. Any patient required indoor managment.

MeasureTime frame
Reduction in frequency and improvement in consistency of stools in children with Balatisara (diarrhoea) after 5 days of treatment with Bilvadi Churna and Rajanyadi Churna.Timepoint: 5 days

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. To evaluate the effect of Bilvadi Churna in reducing the frequency and consistency of diarrheal stools. 2. To evaluate the effect of Rajanyadi Churna on similar parameters in children with Balatisara. 3.To study Balatisar in detail.Timepoint: 5 days
