Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Presence of plaque induced gingivitis Minimum of 20 natural teeth No periodontal therapy in the last 6 months Systemically healthy individuals

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Acute and Chronic Periodontitis Smokers and tobacco users Pregnant or lactating women Systemic diseases affecting periodontium Use of antibiotics or mouthwash in the last 3 months Known allergy to herbal products or chlorhexidine

1. To assess and compare the effect of safflower seed herbal mouthwash and 0.2% chlorhexidine mouthwash on halitosis. 2. To assess and compare plaque accumulation after the use of the two mouthwashes. 3.
