Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Mother-newborn pairs are classified as Lower Socioeconomic Status (L-SES), defined as Modified Kuppuswamy Scale Classes IV and V. Full-term (37-42 weeks), singleton neonates.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Neonates having congenital anomalies, chromosomal abnormalities, birth injuries and in need of intensive care/having low APGAR scores. Pre-term and post-term neonates, and those having central line/PICC line/ umbilical line. Any antenatal insults/injuries to the mother during parturition. Instrument-assisted delivery (forceps delivery, ventouse delivery) and obstructed labor.
