Intervention1: russian current with neuropsycatric approach: russian current therapy will be given using a medium frequency alternating current with a 2500 hz carrier frequency and 50 hz bursts follow

Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: age 40 to 75 years established diagnosis of type 1 or type 2 diabetes mellitus clinical diagnosis of painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy for at least 3 months with an average numeric pain rating scale score of 4 or more over the past week stable diabetic medications for the previous 4 weeks and ability to provide informed consent and follow study procedures
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: peripheral neuropathy due to causes other than diabetes active foot ulcers or severe peripheral vascular disease implanted pacemaker defibrillator or other electronic devices pregnancy or lactation severe cognitive impairment or psychiatric illness affecting consent or participation and current participation in another intervention study or recent electrotherapy treatment for neuropathic pain within the past 3 months
