Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient having age group between 40-60 years of any gender. Diagnosed and confirmed case of manyastambha (neck stiffness) according to symptoms. Patients having symptoms for more than 6 months and less than 2 years. Willingness of patients for study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients age below 40 years and above 60 years. Patients with systematic inflammatory diseases affecting joints like Rheumatoid arthritis, Gouty arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis etc. Patients of traumatic history (shoulder dislocation, fracture /pectoral region) within last six months. Patients with a history of cervical spine injury in last one year. Patients suffering from uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus and hypertension. Patient suffering from localized skin infection. Pregnant women and lactating mothers. Patient on NSAID

MeasureTime frame
To determine the changes in pain level, measured by the visual analog sacle (VAS) and the range of motion assessed using a goniometer.Timepoint: 30 days

MeasureTime frame
Improvement in Symptoms of Manyastambha and elevating the standard of living the life of patients.Timepoint: 30 days
