Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: a.Apparently healthy postmenopausal women in the age group 40-60 years with BMI: 18 - 34.9 kg/m2 b.Women within 3 years of natural menopause where menopause is defined as less than or equal to 12 months of spontaneous amenorrhea. c.Women willing to provide written informed consent and comply with study procedures.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: a.Women with surgical menopause (history of hysterectomy with or without oophorectomy). b.Women receiving hormone replacement therapy (HRT) or hormonal medications within the past six months. c.Women with known history of diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disease, thyroid disorders, or other diagnosed endocrine disorders, chronic inflammatory conditions, autoimmune diseases, or severe musculoskeletal/neurological conditions limiting participation in functional assessments. e.Women currently on medications known to significantly affect metabolic, hormonal, or inflammatory parameters (e.g., systemic corticosteroids, insulin, oral hypoglycemics). Women with psychiatric illnesses or cognitive impairment affecting reliable questionnaire-based assessment.
