Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To compare the attenuation of the hemodynamic response(Heart rate and Blood Pressure) following preoperative nebulization of Dexmedetomidine and LignocaineTimepoint: Baseline outcomes compared between both groups preoperatively (pre nebulization), Post nebulization,Pre Intubation, Immediately after Intubation, at 1st, 3rd, 5th and 10th minute post nebulization

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To compare Electrocardiographic changes between the two groups receiving nebulization of Dexmedetomidine and LignocaineTimepoint: Baseline outcomes intraoperatively; To compare sedation scores after receiving nebulization of Dexmedetomidine and LignocaineTimepoint: Outcomes compared between both groups intraoperatively and postoperatively; To compare adverse effects and patient outcomes during the intraoperative and postoperative period following nebulization of Dexmedetomidine and LignocaineTimepoint: Outcomes compared between 2 groups preoperatively, intraoperatively and postoperatively
