Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adult patients aged equal to or more than 18 years with three or more unilateral or bilateral rib fractures confirmed on imaging and a Visual Analogue Scale score of more than 4 who are haemodynamically stable at the time of block administration and provide written informed consent to participate in the study.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with hemodynamic instability or coagulopathy or those on ongoing anticoagulant therapy or spinal injury or associated head injury with Glasgow Coma Scale less than 15 or known allergy to local anaesthetics or those who refuse to participate in the study.
