Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Caregiver of a patient with severe mental illness and fulfilling any three of the following criteria Parent or spouse or children or siblings Caregivers other than Parent/spouse/children/siblings stay with the patient to provide continuous care, and participate in the treatment and supports patient financially Most frequently been a participant in patient treatment Can understand, communicate and also read and write in English or Hindi

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Caregivers who: Have any diagnosed psychiatric illness. Are currently receiving any other psychological intervention. Are unwilling to participate in the study. Not able to follow instructions Any condition that affects the caregiver s comprehension, communication, or ability to cooperate with the intervention
