Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Women aged 18 to 40 years with secondary amenorrhea that is absence of menses for more than or equal to 90days or more than or equal to 3cycles for regular cycle and more than or equal to 6months in patients having irregular cycles. 2. ET should be more than or equal to 5mm. 3. Patients willing to participate.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Amenorrhea due to Pregnancy lactation or menopause. 2.Uncontrolled hypothyroidism. 3.Known case of Infectious reproductive tract diseases e.g. tuberculosis and STDs. 4. Uncontrolled systemic diseases e.g. diabetes hypertension cardiac disorders. 5. Known case of uterine synechiae or history of previous D and C more than two times. 6. Known case of pituitary factors like leisons in pituitary Cushing s disease Sheehan s disease. 7. Congenital disorder and anatomical abnormalities. 8. Patient having malnourishment and anemia with BMI less than 16 and Hb less than 9gm. 9. Inflammatory conditions like cervical erosion and vaginal infections or lower reproductive tract. 10. Women with increased prolactin level that is more than or equal to 100.

MeasureTime frame
a)Restoration of menstruation The proportion of participants who experience the restoration of their menstrual cycle within a specified period e.g., 3 months of initiating treatment (restoration is defined as the resumption of menstrual bleeding at least once within the study period, with cycles occurring at intervals that are within the normal range for menstruation i.e., every 21 to 35 days). Timepoint: 7 consecutive days in each for 3 consecutive months

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
a)Regularity of menstruation (improvement in the regularity of menstrual cycles i.e., transition from irregular to regular cycles.) b)Menstrual flow (changes in the volume and duration of menstrual flow once menstruation resumes). c)Change in key reproductive hormones like Sr Estradiol, FSH, LH, PRL. d)Endometerial thickness, folliculogenesis and ovulation detection assessed through USG. Timepoint: 7 consecutive days in each for 3 consecutive months
