Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient willing to sign the consent form. Patients with HbA1c less than 8. Patients having classical features of Prameha janya Vrana (diabetic foot ulcer) will be selected irrespective of gender, religion, occupation, and socio economic status. Dushta Vrana within size of 10 into 10 cm (length into breadth) Patients between the age group of 18-70 years of either sex.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient with k/c/o TB, HIV, HCV , HbsAg, VDRL positive. Patients with HbA1c more than 8 Patients with wounds other than Diabetic wounds. Patients suffering from any kind of malignancy Patients suffering from uncontrolled Hypertension. Patient suffering from systemic infectious disease. Patient suffering from osteomyelitis, tubercular ulcer. Patient who fail to give consent.

MeasureTime frame
The patient will be assessed on the following parameters 1. Wound Odour 2. Peri Wound Skin 3. Exudates levels 4. Type of Exudates 5. Pain 6. Wound measurements in centimeter square 7. Signs of infectionTimepoint: The patient will be assessed at baseline then at 2nd week, 4th week, 6th week, 8th week, 10th week and then at the completion of trial at 12th week. The follow up will be done 30 days after the completion of trial.
