Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia requiring awake fiber optic endotracheal intubation age 18 to 50 yr ASA physical status grade 1 and 2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: history of bleeding diathesis history of loss of consciousness cervical spine instability and trauma patient obesity BMI more than 30 kg per meter square uncontrolled hypertension history of ischemic heart disease CVA stroke
