Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients undergoing cataract surgery under local anaesthesia 2. ASA physical status I-III 3. Age 50-70 years 4. Patients with COPD (Group B) & without COPD (Group A).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients on oxygen therapy 2. Patients with other respiratory diseases 3. Patients with cardiac disease 4. Patients unable to cooperate
