Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Systemically healthy patients aged 30 to 60 years. 2.Subjects having a minimum of 20 natural teeth present. 3.Patients willing to comply with study procedures and follow up visits. 4.Patients with stage II and stage III Grade B periodontitis with no grade modifiers. 5.Subjects with probing pocket depth of (PPD) greater than or equal to 5 mm to 7mm in at least two non-adjacent sites in different quadrants
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Subjects who received any local or systemic antibiotics therapy, probiotics or any periodontal treatments in the past six months. 2.Subjects with vertical defects and furcation involvement. 3.Subjects with any systemic diseases. 4.Pregnant women and lactating mother. 5.Subjects who are smokers and alcoholics. 6.Patients who are lactose intolerant.
