Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients having pinching pain either on the midportion of the tendon with two fingers width 2 to 6 cm above the calcaneum or point to a localized area at the posterior calcaneum 2.Tenderness on palpation 3.Pain reproduced with tendon loading activities such as walking running or heel raise 4.As severity progresses symptoms are reported for several hours or even days following bouts of activity and ultimately they persist throughout active periods and severely limit them.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.History of Achilles tendon rupture 2.Neurological disorders 3.Arthritis 4.Fractures of foot or ankle 5.Plantar fasciitis
