Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Systemically healthy patients aged 18 to 50 years 2.Presence of atleast two localised Incisors Canines Premolars comparable gingival recession defects classified as Cairo RT1 4.Recession defects with Recession depth greater than or equal to 2mm Probing depth less than or equal to 3mm 5.Adequate keratinized tissue apical to the recession defect to allow coronal advancement of the flap 6.Teeth with No caries No restorations in the cervical area No cervical abrasions requiring restoration

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with systemic diseases affecting wound healing eg uncontrolled diabetes immunocompromised states 2.Pregnant or lactating women 3.Smokers and tobacco users smoking or smokeless tobacco 4.Teeth with Cervical caries Restorations extending to the CEJ 5.Malpositioned teeth severe rotation or labial displacement 6.Periodontally compromised teeth 7.Recession defects classified as Cairo RT2 or RT3 8.Patients on medications affecting periodontal healing eg steroids bisphosphonates 9.Patients with poor plaque control or noncompliance
