Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients aged 18 to 60 years of either sex posted for elective general anaesthesia cases. 2) American Society of Anaesthesiology (ASA) physical status I and II.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patient refusal for the study. 2)Patients with anticipated difficult airway. 3)Pregnant or lactating women. 4)ASA physical status III,IV and V. 5)Duration of surgery extending to more than 4 hours. 6)Patient unable to comprehend and difficulty in communicating.
