Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients diagnosed with Janusandhigata Vata having classical signs and symptoms. 2.Presence of knee pain, swelling, painful flexion or extension movements, and crepitus . 3.Male and female patients aged 30 60 years. 4.Patients fit for Swedana therapy and ultrasound therapy. 5.Radiological evidence confirming knee osteoarthritis. 6.Patients currently taking analgesics may be included. 7.Willingness to follow treatment protocol and attend follow-up assessments. 8.Patients providing written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with rheumatoid arthritis, gouty arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, rheumatic disorders, or sciatica. 2.Patients with congenital or acquired abnormalities of the knee joint. 3.Patients with recent fractures, ligament injuries or trauma affecting the knee joint. 4.Patients with immune-compromised conditions or receiving immunosuppressive or steroid therapy. 5.Patients with infectious diseases like tuberculosis, malignancy or other serious systemic illnesses. 6.Patients with active skin infections or dermatitis over the knee region. 7.Patients with severe cardiovascular, renal, or hepatic disorders. 8.Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to study interventions or treatment materials.
