Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Caregivers: 1. 18 years or older 2. Can read and understand Kannada 3. Primary informal caregiver 4. Providing regular mealtime support for at least two months 5. Normal cognitive scores as per MoCA PwD: 1. Must have a confirmed diagnosis of dementia 2. Reside within the community 3. Require assistance during mealtimes
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Caregivers: 1. Assisted by nursing staff specifically for mealtime tasks 2. Motor disabilities PwD: 1. Other neurological deficits, such as stroke and Parkinson s disease, at the time of recruitment 2. Living in nursing homes or rehabilitation centers 3. Using enteral feeding methods such as nasogastric tubes, jejunostomy, or percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy
