Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age: 25 50-year-old 2. Partially edentulous site either unilateral or bilateral requiring single or multiple implants in the mandibular posterior region. 3. Appropriate inter-arch space 4. Adequate bone-width and length for implant placement 5. Patients with good oral hygiene and periodontal health 6. Adequate mouth opening. 7. Patient willing for the procedure (the study was explained, including the procedure and follow up for evaluation)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Systemic diseases (Uncontrolled diabetes, recent MI, valvular prosthesis surgery, bleeding disorders, acute renal failure, immunosuppression). 2. Patients on intravenous bisphosphonates. 3. Psychiatric illness. 4. Chronic heavy smokers. 5. History of drugs and alcohol abuse. 6. History of head and neck irradiation in the last 6 months. 7. Patient with a history of parafunctional habits e.g.- Bruxism.
