Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Individuals who are willing to participate. 2.Individuals fulfilling the diagnostic criteria. 3.Body mass index : Above or equal to 25Kg/m2 (Overweight and obese according to WHO Criteria)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Individuals not willing to participate in the study. 2.Individuals with Systemic Disorders like Liver cirrhosis, Coronary heart disease, Renal diseases, Rheumatological disorders, Hypothyroidism, cancer, Irritable bowel Syndrome. 3.Pregnant and lactating women. 4.Individuals on hormonal therapy and taking steroids.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1. Reduction or maintenance in body weight, BMI, Waist Circumference. 2. Reduction in values of parameters in deranged HDL levels, Sr. Triglycerides and Blood Glucose Levels. 3. Reactive oxygen species (ROS) will be done before and after the study. 4. Relief in the symptoms of Jara.Timepoint: at baseline, 8 weeks and 10 weeks(follow up).

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
-Improvement in the MMSE scale.Timepoint: at baseline, 8 weeks & 10 weeks(follow up).
