Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Patients of age between 18 years to 65 years irrespective of gender. 2 Patients having prathyatma lakshanas of Medoroga (Kshudraswasa, Kshudadhikya. Trishna, Krathanam, Atinidra, Swedadikya). 3. Patients having alteration in any one or more component of the lipid profile. Triglycerides= 200-499mg/dl, Total Cholesterol = 200-399 mg/dl, LDL= 150-189 mg/dl 4. Participants must often be clinically stable (e.g. no recent hospitalizations, no major cardiovascular diseases, no active infections.) 5. Patients who have agreed to participate in the thesis study and have fully understood and signed the consent form. 6. Patients who are fit for vasti.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients age below 18 years and above 65 years . 2.participants with hyperlipidemia secondary to Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus, Hypothyroidism (unless treated and stable), Nephrotic syndrome, Chronic liver disease, Cushing s syndrome, Alcohol-induced hyperlipidemia. 3.Patients currently on statins, fibrates, or omega-3 fatty acid supplements within the last 3 months. 4.Pregnant women and lactating mothers. 5.Patients who are unfit for vasti.
