Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Participants who are aged between 18 24 years, willing to participate, currently enrolled as a student at the Allied Health Science College, regularly use a smartphone device that can access social media, have average social media screentime greater than 1hr/day, have Bergen Social Network Addiction score 13 and above, are available to attend baseline, follow-up assessments and to comply with the digital-detox protocol.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The Participants who have participated in a similar digital-detox or psychosocial intervention within the past 3 months, use social media through laptop or PC, failing to comply with the study protocol repeatedly, show persistent non-adherence to intervention procedures, fail to attend follow-up assessments, request voluntary withdrawal from the study at any stage, develop any situation that prevents continuation in the study. Participants demonstrating persistent non-compliance with the intervention protocol or follow-up assessments may be withdrawn from the study. Such withdrawals will be documented appropriately, and confidential data will be maintained throughout the study.
