Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Preterm infants born at less than or equal to 32 weeks of gestation and or with a birth weight of less than or equal to 1500 g, whose parents or legal guardians are willing to provide informed consent, will be included in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Congenital bone disorders Skeletal dysplasia s like Achondroplasia, Osteogenesis Imperfecta, Congenital rickets, Hypophosphatemia and Mucopolysaccharidosis, Major congenital anomalies incompatible with study procedures, Infant clinically unstable for transfer to DEXA and Parental refusal are excluded from study
