Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patient age 18yrs and above 2.Patient who are willing to received PRP therapy and follow up as per study protocol. 3.Patient who provided written inform consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with active systemic infections or sepsis. 2. Wounds with clinical signs of malignancy or malignant transformation. 3. Patients on immunosuppressive therapy or diagnosed with autoimmune diseases affecting healing. 4. Patients with hematological disorders (e.g., thrombocytopenia, coagulopathies).

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Percentage reduction in wound area from baseline to the end of the study period following PRP therapy.Timepoint: To evaluate the effectiveness of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) in promoting wound healing in patients with chronic open wounds.

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Rate of wound size reduction (weekly or per application) 2. Time to partial healing (in weeks) 3.Time to complete healing (in weeks) 4. Number of dressings/applications required for healing Timepoint: 1.Number of PRP applications(Injection PRP once or twice weekly depending on behaviour of wound and response to treatment). 2. Interval between PRP injection(3 to 7 days depending on behaviour of wound and response to treatment).
