Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Previously diagnosed cases or newly diagnosed cases of MASLD DB92 with presence of accumulation of fat in liver confirmed by ultrasonography abdomen with findings suggestive of grade 1 grade 2 and grade 3 And presence of at least one cardiometabolic risk factor 1. Body mass index more than or equal to 24 kilogram per meter square and less than or equal to 34 kilogram per meter square or waist circumference more than or equal to 90 centimeter in males and 80 centimeter in females and less than or equal to 110 centimeter in males and 105 centimeter in females 2. Fasting serum glucose more than or equal to 5.6 millimole per liter that is 100 milligram per deciliter and less than or equal to 200 milligram per deciliter or two hour post load glucose more than or equal to 7 point 8 millimole per liter that is 140 milligram per deciliter and less than or equal to 250 milligram per deciliter. Patient should be on stable oral antidiabetic drugs 3. Blood pressure more than or equal to 130 by 84 millimeter of mercury and less than or equal to 160 by 100 millimeter of mercury. 4. Plasma triglycerides more than or equal to 1.70 millimole per liter that is 150 milligram per deciliter and less than or equal to 500 milligram per deciliter. 5. Plasma HDL less than or equal to 1 millimole per litre that is 39 milligram per deciliter to greater than 20 milligram per deciliter in males and less than or equal to 1.3 millimole per litre that is 50 milligram per deciliter to greater than 20 milligram or equal to in females.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patient aged below 20 years and above 60 years, pregnant women. Patients with uncontrolled diabetes or hypertension, Patients with complications of Metabolic syndrome like Cerebrovascular accident, Myocardial Infarction, Chronic Kidney disease. Patients Ayogya for Virechana karma and Basti. Patients consuming hepatotoxic medicines, alcohol or other narcotic substances. Patients suffering from Cirrhosis, Ascites, variceal hemorrhage, coagulopathy, hepato renal syndrome. Patients having history of viral hepatitis, auto immune liver diseases (Primary biliary cirrhosis, primary sclerosing cholangitis, autoimmune hepatitis), metabolic disorders (Wilson s disease, haemochromatosis) Patients suffering from HIV, TB other infectious diseases, malignancies, major psychiatric problems or any other serious illnesses.
