Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: The study included students aged 18 to 25 years who had been using smartphone from past one year.only those participants who were willing to take part in the study and provided informed consent were included.Both male and female students were eligible for participation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Participants were excluded if they had history of cervical spine injury or surgery any neurological disorders affecting posture and sleep history of any structural and congenital postural deformity diagnosed sleep disorders and students who were unwilling to participate were also excluded from the study.

MeasureTime frame
Smartphone Addiction Scale Short Version (SAS-SV) to determine smartphone addiction level. Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) to assess sleep quality. Craniovertebral Angle (CVA) measurement using photographic analysis by MB ruler method to assess forward head posture. Pectoralis Major Length Test to evaluate tightness of pectoralis major muscle. Craniocervical Flexion Test to assess weakness of deep cervical neck flexor muscles. The gender,age,height,weight and years of using a smartphone of the students were recorded.Timepoint: At base line single time assessment during data collection
