Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients reporting to OMFS OPD for extraction of permanent maxillary and mandibular multirooted teeth. Patients of 18-60 years of age of either gender.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients in whom extraction is contraindicated. Immuno-compromised patients. Pregnant and lactating females. Impacted 3rd molars. Mobile teeth (Grade II and Grade III). Teeth with vertical/horizontal root fracture. Teeth with fused and dilacerated roots. Patients who are allergic to local anaesthetics and antibiotics. Patients who are non-compliant with post operative instructions. Patient not willing to give informed consent.
