Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Isolated Subcondylar Fracture with occlusal discrepancy. 2. Displaced and deviated (Lindhal s Classification) types of subcondylar fracture. 3. American Society of Anaesthesiologist classification (ASA) I and II patient. 4. Age of patient : more than 18 years.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Edentulous mandible fracture. 2. Pre-existing osseous pathology or history of Fracture of mandibular condyle. 3. Previous History of pathology in temporomandibular joints. 4. Condylar fracture associated with any other mid-face fracture or having additional Fracture of mandible. 5. Communited fracture. 6. Patients who are not fit to undergo procedure under general anaesthesia. 7. Previous history of irradiation of head and neck area.

Primary

primary outcome is to evaluate Occlusal Discrepancy, Maximum interincisal Opening,Lateral Excursion,Protusive Movement, Bite Force(Gnathodynamometer)ClinicallyTimepoint: 6 Months

secondary outcome is to evaluate Fracture stability,Measurement of Posterior Ramus Height on Orthopantamogram using Condylar morphology scale method (Vertical distance between the lowest point of the mandibular notch and the highest point of the mandibular condyle),Plate Fracture,Screw Loosening,Malunion,Delayed Union,Non Union radiographically and Pain (according to 10cm Visual Analogue Scale),Facial nerve function (House-Brackmann grading)and Infection ClinicallyTimepoint: 6 Months
