Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 19 60 years undergoing surgery under general anaesthesia Patients providing written informed consent.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with upper airway obstruction, contraindications to mask use Patients unable to cooperate or follow instructions

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the change in FEV1measured by spirometry before and immediately after preoxygenation with 100% oxygen in adult patients undergoing surgery under general anesthesia.Timepoint: FEV1 measured at baseline sitting, baseline supine and immediately after preoxygenaation, after 5mins and 10mins.
