Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients aged 18-60 years 1.Diagnosed with Subclinical Hypothyroidism (TSH level between 4.6 and 6.0 mIU/L, with normal T3 and T4) 2.Willing to provide informed consent 3.Mild or non-specific hypothyroid symptoms 4.Patients having signs and symptoms of Hypothyroidism ,weight gain, cold intolerance, fatigue, facial puffiness, menorrhagia, Constipation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with ischemic heart disease, uncontrolled hypertension, myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular event, cardiac arrhythmias, pregnancy and active malignant disease were excluded from the study. 1. Patients with altered thyroid hormone levels due to other conditions such as under nutrition, malignant neoplasm or non thyroidal illness (low-T3 syndrome). 2.Patients having TSH level greater than 6 mIU/L. 3.Recent thyroid surgery (within 6-12 months). 4.Patients suffering from diseases like HIV, TB, Encephalopathy, Goiter.
