Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Healthy children (ASA I) 2. Children who are between 8 to 12 years old 3. Willingness to participate in the study. 4. Children with no prior exposure to local anesthesia. 5. Children requiring inferior alveolar nerve block.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with developmental or linguistic disorders who cannot communicate properly. 2. Children with medications which affect behaviour. 3. Medically and systematically compromised patients 4. Patients with cognitive impairments or special needs. 5. Localised lesion at the site of injection.
