Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients aged 18 years or older. 2. Patient with atleast 1 or more sites with periodontal pocket depth of more than equal to 5 mm and Clinical attachment loss more than equal to 3mm. ( According to European federation of periodontology) 3. Patient should have atleast 15 natural teeth present (excluding third molar).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient who will not give the consent for the study. 2. History of non-surgical periodontal therapy during the previous 6 months. 3. Pregnancy or lactating females were excluded. 4. Uncontrolled systemic disease known to impact periodontal health, along with the use of systemic antibiotics over the past three months. 5. Patients having a history of stroke, acute cardiovascular events, liver or kidney problems. 6.Patient who smoke more than 10 cigarette per day.
