Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients who are candidate for laparoscopic anterior/low anterior for rectal cancer

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with known ICG or Iodine allergy, lactating and pregnant women, patients with chronic kidney disease stage 3,4 or5

to compare the anastomotic leak rates between real time angiography using Indocyanine Green Fluorescence for the vascularity of bowel ends during anastomosis in laparoscopic rectal cancer surgery with visual assessment in conventional laparoscopic surgeryTimepoint: 01 minute after injection of ICG

i) i) To compare if there is change in level of bowel resection necessitated by Indocyanine Green Fluorescence Angiography (ICG FA) assessment as compared to visual assessment in conventional laparoscopic surgery ii) To assess Overall Complications iii) To assess any adverse events related to ICG administrationTimepoint: 60 days
