Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Patients between 18 to 50 years of age with irrespective of Gender, Occupation, Religion, Socio-Economic status. Patients presenting cardinal clinical feature Ragata (redness) of Amaja Abhishyanda with at least one of the following clinical features of Amaja Abhishyanda i.e. Netrasrava (discharge), Kandu (itching), Daha (burning sensation), and Sangharsha (foreign body sensation), suggestive of acute inflammatory involvement of the conjunctiva. Symptoms developed within less than 5 days.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients having complications of corneal involvement like Marginal Corneal Ulcer, Dacryocystitis, Trachoma, Keratocunjunctivitis Sicca, Vernal Keratocounjunctivitis, Chronic giant papillary conjunctivitis, Atopic Keratocojunctivits, Pterygium, Recurrent allergic conjuctivitis. Pregnant and lactating mother must be excluded. Uncontrolled systemic diseases i.e. Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension.
