Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patient of age group 20 to 60 years will be selected irrespective of their gender, caste, religion & socioeconomic status will be selected. Patients having BMI in the range 23 to 34.9 will be included. Patient who have not taken drugs like metformine & statin s from last 2 Months Patient indicated for basti. Patients having sign and symptoms of Sthaulya Daurbalya Kshudrashwas Nidradhikya. Kshudha. Swed daurgandhya.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients having BMI less than 23 & more than 34.9. Pregnant and Lactating woman. Patient of age group below 20 years and Above 60 Years Patient having any systemic disorders like DM,HTN,CVD Patients having any defective endocrine pathology will be excluded. Patient taking drugs like metformin and statin s continueos Patient contraindicated for basti Patient not willing to give the written consent.

MeasureTime frame
To study the literature review of Sthoulya and obesity As per Ayurveda and Modern Literature respectively. To study Vachaharidradi gana Dravya and its effects on doshas as per classicle texts To study the basti procedure from ayurvedic literature & to study its effect on sthaulya. To evaluate the therapeutic effect to Vachaharidradi gana kashay siddha kal basti in Sthaulya.Timepoint: 0th, 17th,30th day of therapy
