Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Individuals presenting with signs and symptoms consistent with Medoroga as described in Ayurvedic literature Participants with a Body Mass Index BMI falling within the range of 25.0 to 39.9 indicating overweight to moderate obesity Subjects whose lipid profile meets the following criteria Low Density Lipoprotein LDL levels between 100 mgdl and 200 mgdl Total serum cholesterol between 200 mgdl and 400 mgdl Triglyceride levels ranging from 150 mgdl to 400 mgdl Both male and female participants will be considered eligible Only individuals between the ages of 18 and 60 years will be enrolled in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals diagnosed with uncontrolled diabetes mellitus will not be eligible for participation. Patients with uncontrolled hypertension will be excluded from the study Those with a history or diagnosis of hypothyroidism will not be considered for inclusion Participants suffering from major cardiovascular conditions such as myocardial infarction MI or congestive heart failure will be excluded. Individuals with severe liver diseases including liver cirrhosis or alcohol induced hepatic damage will be disqualified from participation
