Intervention1: Co-enzyme Q10 200mg along with Topical Kenacort 0.1%: CoQ10 is an antioxidant drug and Kenacort is a corticosteroid both are approved by FDA Control Intervention1: Topical kenacort O.1%

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients who are clinically diagnosed with Oral Lichen Planus using modified WHO criteria, and with symptoms like burning and/or itching. also patient who gives consent for the trial.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patient who is taking systemic steroids, or other immunosuppressive therapies for at least 8 weeks before the study.Patient treated with any oral topical medications for at least four weeks before the study.Patient treated with any oral topical medications for at least four weeks before the study

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
A patient who is under CoQ10 along with Topical Corticosteroids shows a decrease in burning sensation and will be recorded using VASTimepoint: baseline, 48hrs, 1 week, 4 weeks

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
lesion size improvement using thongprasom scaleTimepoint: baseline, 48hrs, 1 week, 4 weeks
