Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Critically ill patients defined as sequential organ failure (SOFA 6) admitted in CCM on the day of ICU admission Patients with an expected stay of more than 72 hours
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with history of burns or other skin and soft tissue infections requiring frequent wound dressings Patients for whom palliative care / end of life care is planned. Brain dead patients being maintained for organ donation.
