Intervention1: Otago Exercise Program: The Otago exercise program includes twelve static and dynamic balance training activities, gait training for endurance, and five lower limb muscle strengthening

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Men and women aged 60 years or above. Able to walk and stand with or without cane. Intact cognitive ability as assessed using Mini-Mental Scale Examination. (MMSE score more than or equals to 24)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Individuals who have previously engaged in any lower limb balance or resistance training. Participants whose participation in the trial will be limited due to medical contraindication. Any long term musculoskeletal conditions, ankle sprains, or lower limb fractures that would prevent participants from taking part in the study. Any condition that can limit an individuals capacity to participate, such as severe cardiac disease, visual impairment, hearing loss, or neurological disorders.
