Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Adult patients with radiologically confirmed aneurysmal subarachnoid haemorrhage scheduled for microsurgical clipping of intracranial aneurysms with availability of complete blood count within 12-24 hours prior to surgery.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Non aneurysmal SAH, active infection or sepsis, chronic steroid medications, autoimmune diseases,hematological malignancy, chronic kidney disease, chronic liver disease, severe pre-existing cardiac dysfunction

MeasureTime frame
Correlation of pre-operative neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) with incidence of intraoperative hypotension during surgical clipping for aSAH.Timepoint: Preoperative- blood investigation within 24 hours before surgey Intraoperative- blood pressure monitoring baseline, every 5minutes till skin closure

MeasureTime frame
1. To determine the relationship between pre-operative NLR & total intraoperative vasopressor requirement. 2. Correlation between pre-operative NLR & induction hypotension during anaesthesia 3. Correlation between pre-operative NLR & various postoperative complications mainly delayed cerebral ischemia (DCI). 4. Correlation between pre-operative NLR & neurological outcome at hospital discharge using mRS score.Timepoint: Intra-operative period- blood pressure monitoring 5-10 minutes interval Post-operative period- between day 3 to day 14 Discharge from hospital
